Week 11 - Marketing on Social Media without spending money

Write a blog post on how to use marketing on Social Media without spending money. Create several FaceBook and/or Twitter posts that include a call to action to encourage people to visit your website, read your blog, and like your page.

 

 

 How can one do marketing on 

Social Media without spending money?

 

 

 

By sharing, for one, your information, expertise, solutions, give aways, and advice to name a few, on your websites, blogs, online forums, newsletters, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook posts and FB events and any other place you can.

 

Why?  To help build your reputation and brand awareness/recognition, that you're here to help and be a source of knowledge and expertise.  Targeting those with like-minded interests, reaping long term benefits by word of mouth, utilizing a native sales force for your brand.


Research  has shown that 70% of consumers trust brand recommendations from friends.  These opinions are valued not only by friends and family but even by complete strangers. who respond to the positive feedback, helped along with good call to action incentives. 

 

Word of Mouth advertising (free) spreads your message and branding, spurred on by a native sales force.  Research again shows, customers spend 20% more in the long term when they find you through Word of Mouth.  To help that along, great content and a willingness to share, increases your chances to grow your business through social media and not have to spend money.
