As the class comes to a close I look back at what I've learned and how much more there is to know as well as the fact that there is a lot out there that I don't know. At least not yet. To keep up let alone stay on top is a constant learning experience.
Besides having taken this class to kick start my Social Media awareness, I try to find as much information as possible to add to that knowledge by looking at blogs, videos, newsletters, articles, white papers, online workshops and follow as many authoritative sources as I can find.
Has my viewpoint changed after taking this class? Yes and no.
Yes in that what I thought was big is even bigger in scope and far reaching when it comes to the myriad ways on how to advertise and engage people and how NOT to advertise and send them away. Rules I need to master and adapt when they change as they most certainly will over time.
No in that I already know it's something I needed to learn and understand if I wish to get my future business off the ground with as many and right kind of Social Media strategy and tools as possible to achieve and sustain continued success.
Wrap up.
There are a few in this class that's in the same boat as me trying to learn social media, those that have been doing this for some time, and everybody else in between. Along with our teachers, all of you have been helpful in my trying to understand this subject with their findings and experiences that they've blogged about.
To them and our teachers Claudia and Tracy, I thank you all for that and to wish everybody the best and success going forward.
Great post John! I have learned a lot from you! Your comprehensive posts have served all well in as I learned a lot from what you wrote and gave the rest of us access to! Bravo! Best :)
